After the Christmas Holidays we all have New Year resolutions, don’t we? You may agree with us that one of these resolutions is often to acquire healthier habits, do more sport and eat healthier. Today, at Hostemplo, we would like to recommend you 5 healthy restaurants to eat forgetting about calories, does it sound appealing to you?

1. FLAX&KALE BY TERESA CARLES:

A  new food concept has arrived to the city. It is none other than flexitariarism. What does it mean? It’s vegetarian people who are flexible in the way they are vegetarians; that means that there might be occasions when they eat something coming from animals, either because there is no other choice, or simply because they just feel like it.

The Barri family, better known for being the founders of Teresa Carles, the vegetarian restaurant par excellence in Barcelona, has become experts in this field. Both restaurants are a must-visit if you want to have a good-quality, creative, healthy meal, with no meat nor fat in Barcelona – Flax and Kale only serves some blue fish and/or dishes cooked with brew containing this type of fish.

As you can see on the picture, the restaurant is amazing: wood, decorations, …gorgeous! And the dishes…incredibly good! One thing though: remember to book in advance !

What if apart from enjoying a meal you can bring something home with you? There is good news: it is possible! As you may know by the theme of our post today, organic food is healthier and more environmentally-friendly.

Obbio is the ideal place for everyone: families, couples, children, dogs… It is much more than just a cafe & restaurant: it is a shop, an educational space; we could even say it is a way of life, thinking and doing in a different manner.

There, you will have the chance to taste and enjoy the best choice of sustainable and organic dishes, apart from buying products, rather than only food: cosmetics, cleaning products, etc., all of them organic and environment-friendly. Should that not be enough, you may also enjoy workshops, cooking lessons and talks about how to lead a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle. Does it sound interesting? We do think so!
